NEW YEAR- OLD PHOTOSHOOT
Last year, Josh and I had the pleasure of being featured on Kentucky Bride for our 1st anniversary shoot we did with Morgan Worley. Morgan was the photographer for our wedding and we love working with her! To celebrate being married for one year, I wanted to do a photoshoot featuring little details from our wedding- with the same Gatsby-inspiration and lots of gold, black, and BLING. The large LOVE marquee sign you see was used as a backdrop for our ceremony and a focal point behind the dance floor. I was so excited to use these DIY letters again, as it was one of my favorite details of our big day. This sparkly Badgley Mischka dress was inspired by my bridesmaid dresses, all of which were borrowed from Rent the Runway, and paired with my bridal jewelry and bouquet. (P.S. This monogram necklace was a gift from my groom our our big day! So sweet!) We toasted with Freixenet champagne- the same brand bottle we had our guests sign as a guestbook, and used the same flutes from the reception. In honor of the 1st anniversary tradition, we featured the top tier of our cake with the cake topper and magenta peony.
