Ever since we got engaged on NYE, it has been a tradition to celebrate the new year with friends. And since our rehearsal dinner, which was also on NYE, we have thrown the most glamorous parties to celebrate!
In honor of my favorite holiday, I am sharing some snippets from last year’s festivities. The theme: 70’s Disco! I always like to do a glam take on the holiday, but with a fun theme to work off of. And everyone always gets so in to it, which I love!
I shared the backdrop last year and it has been a hit ever since! It was actually easy to assemble, just took a little bit of time. I am tagging all the materials I used to assemble below. Assembly was simple- just arranging the tiles into the correct dimensions you are looking for and zip-typing them together, so be sure to get LOTS of zip ties! We then zip-tied it to the heavy-duty backdrop stand linked below on all sides for extra support. Using 56 total panels, our backdrop was 7’ tall and 8’ wide.
You can also find a video tutorial of the process HERE.
We got Josh’s look from Amazon (minus that sick stache). As for my outfit, this set was from ASOS. It is out of stock, but tagging similar options below.
I loved this theme so much and loved even more how everyone came to party in their disco-best. Stay tuned for and even more EPIC party this year!!
