What is the Kentucky Derby without a bourbon cocktail?! While the mint julep is the most popular, it’s always fun to get festive with new recipes.

Each year, Woodford Reserve releases a signature bottle for the Derby. And for this year, the design is covered in roses. Which inspired my recipe for this cocktail- The Derby Rose. Made with Kentuckys finest bourbon and some unique flavors, this floral-heavy cocktail is perfect for the feminine bourbon lover. I took the theme to the next level and placed mini rose buds into ice trays to make these gorgeous ice cubes. TIP: to get clear ice, boil your water before freezing or use distilled water.
