Y’all- Five Daughter’s Bakery in Nashville, TN is AMAZING. This past weekend, my hubster and I enjoyed a getaway to my favorite city. We explored new restaurants and sites with lots of shopping in-between. However, my most favorite stop was to the cutest little donut shop, Five Daughter’s. We visited the 12th Ave South location, which was perfect for that sunny winter day. This sweet bakery is located in a quaint little house nestled in the busy area of 12th Avenue South, giving the bakery a very unique vibe.
But the best part of it all were the donuts. By far- the BEST sweet treats I have ever consumed. These 100-layer pastries are so soft, fluffy, and moist with lots of options to choose from: the regulars- maple glaze, vanilla cream, chocolate sea salt, & original glazed. And the December menu included Gingerbread Glaze with housemade ginger cookie crumbles, Chocolate Peppermint Pretzel with peppermint buttercream and a chocolate dipped pretzel, Mexican Hot Chocolate with marshmallow fluff and dusted with cayenne pepper, Cranberry Cheer with an orange zest glaze and cranberry buttercream, & Molasses Pecan Pie. My favorite: the Vanilla Cream. So simple, yet full of flavor, and LOTS of whipped cream. 😛
So next time you visit the Music City, hit up Five Daughter’s Bakery. It is now a routine-stop for our Nashville traditions. I promise, you will not be disappointed.
To visit this upbeat bakery, I had to come colorfully. Drenched in pink and sprinkled with blue, this outfit was perfect for a trip to the donut shop. And these gold metallic booties from DSW were the perfect touch!
