I am not afraid to say that self-care is one of the top things on my priority list. As a mom, is it so important to take care of myself so I am able to give the best version of me to my family. The saying is true, a happy mommy makes for a happy baby. I have had several moms reach out to me, asking how I juggle it all. My reply is always this- take time for yourself and do NOT feel guilty for it. When you feel better about yourself, you are more productive, more loving, and more patient.
That leads me to my next topic of discussion- BOTOX! I have recently had my first Botox experience at Etown Wax & Lash Bar in Elizabethtown, KY and I am 100% sold! Before making the appointment, I knew I wanted the treatment to be small, but the impact to be big. I wanted the most natural look as possible. I saw Sabrina, who is a certified nurse pratictioner trained and knowledgable in administering cosmetic injections. When I went into my consultation, I told her I wanted that airbrushed look on my forehead. I know what you’re thinking- you are so YOUNG! Why are you getting Botox! I just hate when my makeup looks crinkled on my forehead and wanted to get rid of that. Plus, I can already notice my body and skin aging. The results gave me so much more than my initial request! Not only did it fix my makeup issues, but it make me not need much makeup at all. It brightened my face with a simple lift.
A little about my experience at Etown Wax and Lash Bar:
As you know, I receive lash extensions from Etown Wax and Lash Bar and always love the services I receive. Sabrina Coffman, APRN administers all cosmetic injections, including Botox, Kybella, lip flips, fillers, etc. She is extremely knowledgeable in her trade and I felt completely comfortable in her hands. With a gentle approach, she answered every question I had thoroughly and eased any concerns or nervousness I had, making it a fun self-care experience. What I love about Etown Wax and Lash Bar is their detailed attention to every client’s overall health. Before EVERY appointment I have there, no matter the service type, a full accessment of my medical history was performed in order to ensure the proper handlings of the spa treatments. The biological knowledge these ladies have is truly impressive, and they carry it over to their skincare services. That type of care is rare and keeps me coming back!
When I posted about my amazing experience on my Instagram, I had so much interest and questions coming from you guys, so I thought I would explain it all in a blog.
