In true Amanda fashion, I am 6 months late posting this, but better late than never, right?!
Our little boy is OBSESSED with dirt bikes. I grew up at the track- my brother was super involved in racing and we traveled every weekend to his races. My parents had a full-blown dirt bike track built on their property, and in fact, your girl even raced herself. 😉 It as a true family hobby and our lives were dedicated to the sport. So, it is so special that my son has a natural passion for a childhood love of mine as well. So it was inly appropriate to honor his favorite things with a motocross party to celebrate his 2nd birthday. Has it really already been 2 years?! My sweet little baby is growing up so fast.
Because I grew up around motocross, I went all out with the details. My favorite- our matching “Burris Racing” tees, with #2 on the back (I am sure that reference is obvious).

SHOUTOUT!
And we cannot skim past the best part of it all- real dirt bikes! Maverick’s favorite color is green, so Kawasaki was the only way to go. And a HUGE thanks to Adventure Power Sports for providing us with the most amazing set up! The bikes, the gear, the track backdrop- it was all so perfect and this party would have been nothing without their kindness.

The balloon backdrop was made of race flags zip-tied together, with inflatable tires all around. Of course, I had to add in some covered hay bales like you see at the track and some gas containers for that extra flair.

Th goody bags were super cool! I got these checkered flag boxes from Amazon, and filled them with some fun themed goodies. Each box was paired with a toy dirt bike, which I got in bulk from the Dollar Tree and individual trophy cups from Oriental Trading.

I honestly don’t know how I am going to surpass this party for my favorite little guy, It is one he still talks about, and I don’t even know how his young mind still remembers it. So, I will forever relic in this moment, knowing this was the best party ever!
